Hello,
My name is Momma. I am a three year old lab mix that has been at the shelter since October of 2011. I am currently the longest-term dog at the shelter, and the staff has no idea why! I am an extremely well-mannered lady that loves children and belly rubs! I was sent through the Pups on Parole Program at the Correctional Release Center where I was crate trained, house trained, and was taught basic obedience.
Here is what my trainer has to say about me:
"Momma has completely come out of her shell since she has been here! She enjoys playing with other dogs, and one of her favorite things in the world are belly rubs. When she goes to the visitation room, the kids will gather around her to take turns rubbing her belly. Momma just loves it! She knows sit, lay down, and heel. She likes chewing on her nylabone and playing tug. She LOVES her stuffed Kong! Any family would be very lucky to have Momma in her home."
I am now back from the Correctional Release Center, and I'm ready to go home. Come and give me a belly rub today!
